Backlinking tools in practice: your first order

If you can build a campaign in Google Ads, you can place a link order. The flow is shorter than a campaign setup, and nothing is charged until the final step.

Six clicks from filter to live link

01

Find links

Open the marketplace. Filter by Domain Rating, organic traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price.

02

Add to basket

Put candidates in the basket. No charge happens here, so you can add more than you intend to buy and prune later.

03

Choose a content mode

For each order pick automatic (target URL and keyword), your own prompt, or your own finished article.

04

Review the basket

Check the total, the target URL on every line and the anchor. This is where typos in a landing page address get caught.

05

Pay from your balance

Top up the dashboard balance, then pay. Invoices and proforma invoices are available if finance asks.

06

Track it

The placement shows in ordered links with a status. It usually goes live within about 24 hours of payment.

Habits that make later reporting easier

Name things the way you name campaigns. Keep one sheet with order date, domain, price, target page and anchor. Six months on, that sheet is the only way to explain a result. Skip it and you guess.

Order in small batches. A batch of five placements lets you see how the marketplace, the writing and the indexing behave before you scale. It also limits regret.

The same flow is available by REST API with a Bearer key, and AI agents can browse donors and fill a basket over MCP in ChatGPT or Claude. The human approves payment as a separate step, which suits anyone who has been burned by an automation spending too much.

Before checkout, open the target URL in a private window to confirm it loads, is indexable and shows the offer you expect. A placement pointing at a broken or redirected page is the cheapest mistake to prevent.

Finally, wait. A placement that is live is not yet a result. Give Google a few weeks to recrawl the page, then look at referral visits and Search Console impressions for the target URL, with the date of the order beside them.

Agencies reselling to clients can do the same, one sheet per client. The red-flag list makes a decent checklist for the review meeting.

Anchor text, from an ad person's view

In ads you write the headline to match the query. For links, the safer habit is the opposite: use your brand, your page title or a natural phrase from the article, and avoid pasting your best-paying keyword into every anchor.

Where this fits

A tool for placements, not a suite

This is a marketplace for individual links. It does not replace Ahrefs or Semrush for audits, and the balance is topped up in the dashboard, not through the API.
